Yoodong’s background includes 3 months of operations and logistics experience in aircraft manufacturing. After freshman year, he spent those 3 months with General Electric Aviation in Cincinnati, OH creating a process through Excel to identify $4 million worth of new GENX hardware that could be sold from the Development Material Planning team to the Production team. This process allowed the company to see where development costs could be reduced and production’s supply chain team could be easily supported. Yoodong also supported in reducing Spares demand against Bromont (plant) delinquencies for $450K of LEAP Development Turbine Blades. As a sophomore, Yoodong will be doing a rotation for Meijer in Grand Rapids, MI in their Global Logistics team in the General Merchandise division. He will be responsible for working with vendors, service providers, merchants and the distribution facilities to make sure product ships/delivers on time.
