Munzer has a combined 16 months of experience in the Financial Services and Healthcare industries. Most recently, Munzer worked at EY as a Risk Advisory Consulting Intern and was involved with engagements in various industries including Government, Fintech/Banking, and Utilities. His work ranged from cybersecurity consulting to IT controls testing. Previous to that, Munzer worked at Cardinal Health, a Fortune 15 healthcare company, as an Enterprise IT Finance Intern where he led efforts to reduce overseas tax reserves, resulting in an estimated savings of approximately $500,000. He also reduced the time his team spent on grunt work by 67% using Excel VBA and macros. Lastly, Munzer worked as a Financial Representative Intern at Northwestern Mutual where he helped restructure a client's business of $12 million to mitigate risk. He also met with clients across various industries to create personalized financial plans.
Munzer is currently an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Computing Concepts/Competencies, a course that works in-depth with Microsoft Excel and Access. In this role, he became adept at using the applications for purposes such as macros, pivot tables, vlookups, building queries, charting, and basic VBA. Munzer also stays involved with many MSU organizations, holding leadership positions as External President of Global Business Brigades, Internal VP and Co-Founder of Phi Gamma Nu, and VP of Public Relations of Blueprints for Pangaea. His leadership experiences taught him how to effectively lead teams, consistently restructure for higher efficiency, and implement new and existing agendas.
