Maryann's background includes 3 years of working at The Breslin Student Events Center as the Tour Guide Director and Production Staff Supervisor. Through her experience there, she learned valuable customer service and grew her knowledge on how to lead a team of diverse people. Maryann continued her customer service career with American Cruise Lines as a intern during the summer of 2016. There she worked closely with the crew to provide excellent service and communication to the staff and customers.
Most recently Maryann was an intern at corporate Meijer in the Merchandising and Marketing Department. There she honed in on her knowledge of marketing to apply in practice a marketing plan. This plan included visual merchandising, packaging, target market planning, marketing analytics and the organization of them all together.
Maryann is going into her second year as Director of Marketing & HR for Spectrum Consulting Group. In the past Maryann has been the Public Relations Chair for the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi. She is a marketing teaching assistant for the following courses: Managerial Marketing, Consumer & Organization Buyer Behavior, Retail Management, and Production Management & Innovation. She will expand into Personal Selling & Buying Process in Spring 2018.
