Andrew’s background includes four months of internship experience working to assist purchasing and manufacturing operations as a Global Supply Chain Analytics Intern at Amway Corporation – Access Business Group. At Amway, Andrew successfully identified a problem in their Material Cost Take Out Commodity Forecast calculations and implemented a solution resulting in a 166% improvement in forecast accuracy. Andrew spent this past summer at W. W. Grainger Inc. as a Supplier Performance Management Intern in Chicago, IL. At Grainger, Andrew created a supplier stratification model and provided recommendations on how to improve Grainger’s overall supplier communication strategy going forward.
Along with SCG, Andrew is currently the President and Founder of Spartan Blockchain, a non-profit student-run blockchain advisory and advocacy firm focused on providing clients with innovative blockchain solutions while developing their student consultants and developers as leaders in the blockchain space. Additionally, he is an active member in MSU’s Alpha Kappa Psi Co-ed Professional Business Fraternity and MSU’s Supply Chain Management Association.
